Suttons Railway Station

Declared 2 October 2003 · Manchester · Railway Stations

Solid recessed panel timber doors, sash windows and jalousies are just a few of the familiar features seen on Sutton Railway Station. Railway architecture also demands that it be of the Jamaica/Georgian style, made of timber and set on a stone base. Sutton Railway Station was probably built in the late 19th century and was declared a national monument on the 2nd of October 2003.
