Statue of the Rt. Excellent Norman Manley St. William Grant

The statue of the Rt. Excellent Norman Manley at the northern end of the St. William Grant Park, was unveiled at a ceremony on Sunday, July 4, 1971, on the 78th anniversary of his birth.

The bronze statue, done by distinguished Jamaican sculptor Alvin Marriott, shows Manley in a characteristic pose with right arm upraised.
