Spanish Town Historic Square

The historic center of Spanish Town, Jamaica's former capital (1534–1872), features the Old King's House (Governor's residence), the Rodney Memorial, the Old House of Assembly, and the courthouse. The square represents one of the finest collections of Georgian civic architecture in the Americas and tells the story of Jamaica's colonial governance.
